Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager who will help realise the further growth of Nuctech Netherlands B.V. Do you have experience in sales and are you passionate about it? Do you have a technical background and a positive outlook? Then we are looking for you!

Job description

As a Sales Manager, your task is to establish growth in market share and profit in your region. You will set up the Area Sales Plan and wright Account plans for your Key Accounts. This means that you manage all the strategic sales activities, manage your customers, distributors and generate New Business by acquisition, account management, and marketing activities. You plan and organize activities (travel, visits, meetings) required to achieve your personal & team objectives. Furthermore, you are responsible for analyzing and responding to trends and developments in the market and initiate product development. As Regional Sales Manager, you are able to manage and optimize your market and products, and processes. You are a professional Business Partner for all the stakeholders in your region and will have to forecast, evaluate and report to the General Manager of Sales.

As the European office has recently established itself in Rotterdam, you will help build the Sales department in coordination with the sales colleagues in the Netherlands and Europe. You also have the freedom to develop yourself within the company.

Our Sales Manager has the following responsibilities:

  • Managing and initiating daily sales activities in the assigned sales area and product groups.
  • Performing sales activities to present our products to existing and new customers VIA telephone approach, 'face to face' and visit exhibition
  • Supporting and guiding existing local distributors/agents
  • Finding new local distributors/agents
  • Responsible for incoming requests, tenders and coordinating questions and answers to all parties
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales revenues and margins in the allocated area

Requirements and Specifications:

  • 5+ years experience in a sales role in a business-to-business capital equipment sales environment. Experience in driving revenue in technical products/instruments industries is strongly preferred.
  • At minimum a bachelor degree with a technical affinity, or simular
  • Experience in sales of technical products that require explanation
  • A proven strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue projections in capital equipment sales.
  • Proven experience in cross-selling and Value-Based Selling (benefits and profit enhancement proposition).
  • Computer skills for preparing proposals and presentations (Microsoft Office) and experience with the use of CRM systems.

  • you are open to technical know-how, the talent to analyze customer needs correctly and to conclude new contracts;
  • willing to travel regularly to projects/customers on location within Europe;
  • you are fluent in Dutch and English verbally and in writing.
