Mechatronics Engineer

Job purpose:

In this role, you will work on the mechanical structure, dynamic design and electrical design of the AGV/Robot chassis. This requires you to solve technical problems in the process of schematic design, processing, assembly, commissioning and implementation.

As a Mechatronics Engineer, you can have a good overview of complex, highly accurate control systems. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you play a crucial role in getting our systems to the required performance, by understanding the controls of such systems and looking for the best solutions within those boundaries. This requires broad orientation, conceptual skills, and a “can-do” mentality. Flexibility in thinking and persistence is also required.

By joining our team, you'll work closely with software engineers, hardware engineers, and designers to push the boundaries and capabilities of our high-end X-Ray products.

Position:

The Mechatronics Engineer reports directly to the AI R&D Manager of Nuctech Headquarters.

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the mechanical structure, dynamic design and electrical design of the AGV/Robot chassis;
  • Responsible for solving technical problems in the process of schematic design, processing, assembly, commissioning, implementation, etc.

Job requirements:

  • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and quick learner, excellent communication skills and self-motivated;
  • Bachelor degree (or simular) or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, and other related majors, with at least 5 years of working experience.
  • Familiar with Kinematic Design and Structural Design; Proficient in using mechanical drawing and electrical design software.
  • Certain experience in electrical and electronic technology and good knowledge of sensors, electronic control, and driving system;
  • Rich experience in the model selection of structural design device, including the model selection of key components of the robot, such as motor, etc.;
  • Familiar with processing technology and assembly technology is preferred.
  • Familiar with the principle and application of machine vision is preferred.
  • You speak English fluently.
