Job description

The Finance Manager reports directly to the (Deputy) General Manager Nuctech Netherlands. Responsible for the financial health of the company. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research. Guiding management in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.

Job responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions;
• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary;
• Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement;
• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company;
• Provide insightful information and expectations to management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making;
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports;
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings;
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes;
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company;
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
• Follow the law and regulations, especially GDPR;
• Follow the information security policy;
• Report the information security incidents and data breaches to the Security Officer conform to the process.
• Follow and be aware of the information security policy and procedures;
• Keep company confidential information secure;
• Report the information security incidents and data breaches to Security officer;
• Follow up relevant legislations and regulations regarding the environmental rules and information/data security as stipulated in ISO140001 and ISO 27001.

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree in finance or accounting;
• 5 to 10 year FP&A, investment banking, business administration or management consulting experience;
• Familiar with Navision;
• Strong Excel skills;
• Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills understanding of business process and systems optimization;
• Comfortable interacting with all level of management in multiple areas;
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting;
• Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions;
• Strong financial system and business administration understanding;
• Good knowledge of English spoken and written.
